Part 16 of 35 Do not worry

Jesus taught that riches on earth do not last: "Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven… For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:20–21).

He told his listeners not to worry about food or clothes. "Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them… Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these" (Matthew 6:26–29).

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33).

Imagined The garden

Flowers bloom here all year round, and no one has to worry about tomorrow.

Real world Flowers and pollinators

Flowers are not only beautiful. Bees, butterflies and other pollinators carry pollen from flower to flower, which helps plants make fruit and seeds. About three out of every four kinds of food crops depend at least partly on pollinators.
